Which countries are excluded from DV Lottery 2024? ›

South America, Central America, and the Caribbean

Countries in this region whose natives are not eligible for this year's DV program: Brazil, Colombia, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, and Venezuela.

U.S. immigration law and regulations require that every DV entrant must have at least a high school education or its equivalent or have two years of work experience within the past five years in an occupation that requires at least two years of training or experience.

Embassies of the Schengen Treaty countries will not accept passports that are more than 10 years old. Can I apply for a U.S. visa? Yes. The only validity requirement to Belarusian passports we have is that they should be valid for another 6 months from the date of your departure from the United States.

DV-2024 Program: The online registration period for the DV-2024 Program begins on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at 12:00 noon, Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) (GMT-4), and concludes on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at 12:00 noon, Eastern Standard Time (EST) (GMT-5).
