Can Sims get arrested in Sims 4? ›

When a Sim is working in the criminal career, the Sim has a chance of being arrested. When this occurs, the player will be brought to the Jail where the Sim is held. The player can choose their tones while at the Jail. Like detention, it can be a problem if the Sim is a Workaholic.

Jail. In The Sims, Sims in the top levels of the Criminal career track could randomly receive a career chance card, the potential negative outcome of which would result in them being sent to jail (off-screen) for a period of game time.

Criminal Career gets you arrested way too often. It´s way too difficult to ever get promoted in the criminal career. You get arrested and lose progress at least every second time you go to work in between your next incarceration and your last. Your performance doesn´t have a say in the matter, either.

However, you'll need to be careful not to get caught by either your parents or your caregivers! Any Adult Sim from the household who catches the Teen Sim sneaking out will give them a lecture (on Responsibility, if you're playing with Parenthood) that results in negative moodlets and the Teen returning home.

Alien abduction returns in The Sims 4: Get to Work. An abduction can occur anytime at night (10 pm- 4 am). When an abduction does occur, the Sim will stop whatever they're doing and go to "Investigate Weird Light".

The law enforcement career is a base game career track featured in the The Sims, The Sims 2 and The Sims 3. It is also included in The Sims 4: Get to Work (where it is renamed to "detective") and The Sims FreePlay as an active career.

New objects that are relevant to the case, such as personal items from the suspects, may also appear. Players can take photos of these objects and talk to witnesses. To solve the crime, it is recommended to collect as many clues as possible by ensuring the Sim interacts with every object and witness at the location.

The police officer NPC does not appear in The Sims 4, although the Get to Work expansion pack features police-related jobs for Sims (and work at a police station) through a detective career.

Can you get banned on Origin for pirating The Sims 4 expansion packs? Yes. You can technically be banned from any company for any reasons as they are private companies.
