It dries pretty quickly - a couple hours at the most. I think it's supposed to be safe for pets after 6-8 hours, so it's gotta be dry before that.

While ortho is good inside the home, MAX is better used outside the home (and inside) but in order to benefit from it you need to spray it on hard surface next to your house, tile, concrete doors, windows ect.
