What is VBA?
VBA stands for “Visual Basic for Applications”, and is a programming language developed by Microsoft. With VBA you can develop programs that control Microsoft Excel and Access, as well as other programs in Microsoft Office.
It’s important to note that VBA is not the same as VB, which stands for Visual Basic. While VBA and VB have plenty in common, they are different languages and allow you to create different executable programs. Having VB knowledge or experience can be handy if you’re looking to learn VBA, but it’s not essential.
