I've really been trying to cut back on our Amazon spending but I think I failed this month. On top of the household things like cleaning products, Ziploc bags, trash bags, toilet paper, etc. I found myself turning to Amazon quite a bit for some out of the ordinary things and then ended up treating myself to a few belated Christmas gifts using some gift cards I had. *none of these are affiliate links but just in case you want to check them out for yourself I've included links* The bowls that came with our kitchen set were all chipped and I've been putting off replacing them because I didn't want to have to replace all the plates too. Well, Ian found these bowls on Amazon and they are a pretty close match so I ordered them and we are really liking them! I haven't written a weight in post since Sept and have been doing so well! After wanting to skip my September post entirely I am so pleased with how I've been doing in October and November (thank goodness this post is coming out before the long holiday weekend!). As of writing this post I am weighing in at 161.6; so I am down a few pounds and more importantly the last time I've seen 161.anything on the scale was last May! Oddly I feel like I have been eating more carbs and supposedly "high point" food versus my usual array of zero point fruits and veggies. BUT I do think I have been eating less overall since most days I am only eating 2 meals instead of 3. I am finding those high point meals to be rather filling and I'm just not hungry. I haven't been great about logging food on my Weight Watcher App at all and am even debating about dropping it... we'll see. I figure I'll keep it until the New Year (and probably until after our cruise!) a

This month for the Share Our Lives link up we're talking about how we met our significant others (or perhaps you'd rather share how you and your best friend met!). My husband and I actually do not remember meeting one another; we went to the same middle school so we met at some point during school. We had a group of friends that hung out together all through our last two years of middle school and while I definitely remember him there I don't remember the first time we met. Here he is at some point probably in 8th grade teasing me for always snapping photos (I even had a camera in my hand most of the time back then too!) Sorry the photos aren't the best but I'm taking pictures of pictures for this post. Our friend group changed a bit from time to time with new members coming in as they became friends with one of us... but there were a core group of us that remained pretty consistent.
