Dominique Cordell Wallace was sentenced to 30 years in federal prison for robbery and firearms violations. During a robbery, Wallace shot a store clerk in the head. ATF’s investigation led to the seizure and forfeiture of the weapon used in the robbery.
Chicago Field Division
Two members of the Chicago-based Latin Kings were convicted of conspiracy to participate in racketeering and drug-related charges. Darrick Vallodolid and Robert Nieto participated in activities that led to the deaths of two individuals, one of them a 15-year-old boy. Washington Field Division
Joint Operation “Tin Panda” resulted in the convictions of 36 individuals involved in violent crimes in the Northern Virginia area, including homicide, malicious wounding and robbery. Led by ATF, the investigation with the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) resulted in the seizure of 95 firearms, cash, vehicles and drugs.
New York Field Division
Marquis Wright, one of the leaders of the “18 Park” gang, was sentenced to 35 years in prison on multiple violent crime counts. The gang used firearms and violence to control a Mott Haven housing development and its surrounding area. As part of the investigation, ATF seized and forfeited several firearms, ammunition, and money.
Columbus Field Division
A Cleveland man was sentenced to 191 months in federal prison for firing a shotgun during a carjacking. Cody M. Coats used an Ithaca short-barreled shotgun to steal a vehicle and shoot at the victim. As part of Project Safe Neighborhoods, ATF and the Euclid Police Department jointly investigated this case.
