EDC parafoil bleed air actuator technology provides simultaneous high levels of turn rate and glide slope control in an amazingly power efficient manner, needing one-tenth of the force of conventional right and left brake actuation systems.
EDC Aerial Cargo Delivery Assistant technology is providing invaluable real-time feedback to autonomous airdrop systems and aircraft mission planning systems enabling more accurate and into the wind landings. This ground based unit measures and broadcasts ground winds, barometric pressure, position, magnetic heading, and a beacon signal to autonomous airdrop systems improving accuracy by a factor of 2 while improving payload survivability by aiding into the wind landings.

7.Epps Aviation
Epps Aviation has a long established history when it comes to aviation in Georgia. A history that started when Ben T. Epps, the first pilot in the state, built his first vintage aircraft in 1909. Ben Epps built and flew another eight aircraft designs until 1937, when he was fatally injured in a takeoff crash at the airport in Athens, Georgia, which is now named in his honor. His six sons and two of his three daughters all became pilots. In 1965, one of Ben’s sons, Pat Epps, bought a small fixed-based operation (FBO) at DeKalb-Peachtree Airport (PDK) and began Epps Air Service. The original facility consisted of a main hangar (40,000 square feet) and a shop-office area with 19 employees.
Through the years, Epps continued to grow. The facility consists of the original main hangar, a terminal lobby, two maintenance/avionics hangars totaling 54,000 square feet, five corporate aircraft hangars, 40 T-hangars, and its own fuel farm.
